About Me

Tamia is a physicist & artist from New York City. In 2021 she graduated from Pace University with her MST in Teaching. In 2018, she earned her BA in Physics & Theatre Arts from Mount Holyoke College. Her research background is in physics education research that focuses on connecting physics identity and racial identity for students of color, as well as looking at its intersection of the performing arts on black identity.

My Passion

Tamia’s passion lies at the intersection of science, specifically physics and art. She strives to create content that is relatable and accessible to all individuals whether it be through painting, digital mediums or writing.

My Goals

One of Tamia’s many goals is to cultivate and create a community that fosters creativity and inclusivity in STEAM.
